Hi I'm Barbara and I have been training with Coach B for about two years. What stands out for me is coaches mastery of the art of gentle persuasion hell, size of your potential and then suddenly, gently coax you to set a goal outside of your comfort zone and then because he believes you could do it. You believe it and you don't want to let him down. When I came to California two years ago, I'd already run a lot of marathons, but I wasn't sure I wanted to do another one. Then suddenly I had a bib and I was running CIM (California International Marathon) in Sacramento and I done speed work before, but I'd never run track. And now every Wednesday I'm running around the track, doing speed drills in the dark. I'd come from suburban New Jersey and I'd never set foot on a trail, and now I am following Coach B up the mountains and exploring the trails all over San Jose. So if you have a goal in mind, you're trying to shave off some time from your mile or you're trying to qualify for Boston or just improve your general fitness and endurance. Coach B will help you get there with a gentle push.
